How to Sew a Store Reward Cards Wallet

If you collect a number of store reward cards, space in your purse or wallet can diminish quickly. Sewing your own store reward cards wallet will free up space in your usual wallet, and reduce the stress of being able to find the card you need. This is a inexpensive project that you can tackle in your spare time. By selecting your own fabrics, you can make the wallet truly distinctive.

Pin two of the charm squares together along one edge, right sides together.

Sew a 1/4-inch seam along the pinned edge, removing the pins as you sew. Press the seam open.

Repeat steps one and two with the other two charm squares.

Apply the fusible interfacing to the wrong sides of both strips of fabric, following the manufacturer's instructions.

Line up the two strips of material, right sides together, and pin in place along three edges, preferably leaving a short edge unpinned.

Sew a 1/4-inch seam around the three pinned edges, removing the pins as you sew.

Fold down 1/4 inch of the unsewn edge onto the main wallet, wrong sides together, and press in place all the way around.

Turn the wallet the right way out. Topstitch around all the sides 1/8 inch from the edge.

Lie the wallet flat with the inside material facing up. Fold the shorter edges in toward the center, leaving a 1-inch gap on either side of the center seam.

Topstitch along the top and bottom of the folded sections, 1/8 inch from the edge, to create the card pockets.
