How to Store Your Handbag When It’s Not Used

We may have some questions of how to store our wholesale designer handbags when they’re not used at the moment. Handbag lovers may have all kinds of tips to keep their beloved bags in best condition. I would love to share mine with you today.

A) Handbags should be placed in a dry place to avoid any damage or going moldy caused by the damp weather. Do not expose your handbag under the sun because that will ruin the leather if it’s over exposed.

B) Stuffing your bag with some newspapers or plastic bags will help to retain the original shape. Remember not to fold the bag even if it’s made of fabric or soft cloth because the creases cannot easily go after a certain time.

C) Put your bag into the dust cover that comes with your bag while storage because dust cover is helpful to keep your bag away from dusts, oxidizing and fading. If you lose the dust cover, try to get a cloth in light color and wrap your bag properly to protect it from aging.

D) Take the bags out of the dust cover periodically (twice a year at least) to air it out against mildew and moldy smell, but don’t spray any perfume or chemical liquid to your bag. Several dried lemon slices are allowed, but frequent change is required.

E) Last but not the least, check your bag thoroughly before storage to see is there any spot or dirt on it. Slightly wipe it off with a towel to keep it clean.

The above are the basic steps that Cathy knows how to store and maintain the handbags. What about yours?
