We’ve seen a lot of nice bags in paparazzi photos from the Gossip Girl set, but I can’t help but to be a little disappointed in them so far. The bags they’ve features this season are almost all Spring/Summer 2010 looks that we’ve already seen in stores and on ours friends’ arms! I watch the show partly because I want to see new and interesting styling choices, and using looks that are already available to us regular folk just doesn’t cut it.
Finally, though, the show’s stylists have managed to strap something to Leighton Meester that I can get excited about. Her charcoal grey Louis Vuitton Bag was seen on LV’s fall runway and will be in stores soon, and I’m glad to see it carried on the show. Her Reem Acra printed dress isn’t bad either even though it’s clearly a spring look, and the two pieces balance each other nicely.
